BMW has unveiled a special edition of its Alpina XB7 SUV, the Manufaktur edition, which will be limited to just 120 units and marks the end of the current generation's production run. This exclusive model, showcased at the 2026 Amelia Island Concours, is poised to become a collector's item, embodying bespoke luxury and performance.
These highly anticipated vehicles, scheduled for production starting in September 2026, will feature an array of distinctive design elements that set them apart. Owners can choose between two sophisticated matte exterior finishes: Frozen Alpina Green or Frozen Alpina Blue. Complementing these unique paint colors, all standard silver exterior trim pieces have been replaced with a sleek gloss-black alternative, enhancing the vehicle's bold presence. Even the 23-inch wheels are finished in gloss-black, and a refined double pinstripe accentuates the vehicle's profile. Inside, the exclusivity continues with special Manufaktur badging on the B-pillars and liftgate, a unique numbered plaque highlighting each vehicle's individuality, and Alpina embroidery on the headrests, color-matched to the exterior. Adding a final touch of luxury, the trunk houses a pair of elegant leather weekender bags, also coordinated with the SUV's chosen exterior hue.
Priced at $181,550, this Alpina XB7 Manufaktur edition represents a significant investment in automotive artistry and performance. It serves as a farewell to the current XB7 generation, offering enthusiasts and collectors a rare opportunity to own a piece of BMW's and Alpina's storied collaboration, blending high-performance engineering with unparalleled craftsmanship and personalized luxury. This exclusive release not only celebrates the model's legacy but also underscores the enduring appeal of meticulously crafted, limited-production vehicles.
BMW Alpina is concluding production of its highly sought-after XB7 SUV with a special limited-edition Manufaktur model, destined for North American markets. This exclusive release boasts a powerful 631-horsepower twin-turbo V8, unique exterior finishes, and a lavish interior, offering a final opportunity for enthusiasts to acquire this bespoke luxury vehicle before its discontinuation.
