Gathering Strength: Community Spirit Boosts Local Food Pantry with Generous Donations

A successful "NO KINGS Rally" in Wellsville, organized by the Allegany County Democratic Committee (ACDC) and Rise Up Wellsville, drew around 300 attendees who peacefully gathered for music, discussions, and a reading of the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution. Attendees donated over 30 bags of non-perishable food and personal care items to the Rushford Community Food Pantry, supporting local families in need. Additionally, 15 bags of pet food and supplies were donated by Western NY Food for Paws, expanding its services to Allegany County. This initiative aligns with ACDC's motto: "Serving our Community." The Rushford pantry operates monthly, and local pet food donations are facilitated through Giant Food Marts in Cuba and Wellsville. For more information, contact ACDC via their website or social media platforms.
