During the active weight-loss phase, every participant adhered to specific dietary and exercise regimens.
Across both research initiatives, a notable correlation emerged between reduced body mass and a younger appearance of brain structures in MRI assessments. Participants consistently exhibited enhanced brain-age scores within months, with these improvements persisting throughout extended follow-up periods.
Given the modest scale of the studies and the evolving nature of brain age measurement through MRI, these findings should not be interpreted as definitive proof that weight loss directly enhances brain function. Brain age serves as a research metric rather than a clinical diagnostic tool, and it does not directly forecast an individual's daily cognitive or emotional state. Nevertheless, this study provides a foundational understanding of how changes in overall health might correlate with the functional aspects of the brai
